Jones Leadership Academy of Business (JLAB) has 9 Bloomberg Terminals that gives our students access to a world-renowned financial, regulatory and market database that's used by virtually all of the major financial firms and organizations around the globe.

The Bloomberg Terminal enables JLAB teachers to bring an interactive teaching tool into the classroom. Our Bloomberg Terminals are a powerful resource providing real-time data from markets around the world, in addition to news, research, and powerful analytics used by top decision-makers in finance, business, and government. Our students at JLAB can earn certification from Bloomberg by completing the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) courses in addition to concepts taught from the Series 7 exam.

Students have to build a net worth of $250 thousand to pass this class. It also covers the “not so fun stuff” like college debt, mortgages, and insurance.

The Bloomberg Lab offers experience & technology that can only be found in one-of-two labs located in urban schools across the nation.
